March 20, 2011WOW!! Two years since the last What's Shakin' entry??!! Believe it or not there have things happening between then and now. There have been some changes in the line up. Ed Jamieson is now a full time member of the band. He plays one hell of a guitar and has convinced us to do tunes from some different artists. Like Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Kiss, The Who and a few more. So we're as pleased as punch to have him on board. (Whatever the hell that means. How good can punch be for someone to think of that?) In addition to Ed, Ben Banning has joined the fold on drums. He's been around the block once or twice so there's a chance you may have seen him before. He's a great drummer and he keeps us constantly laughing, which is a good thing! Unfortunately, Ben's arrival means that Dave is no longer playing drums with us. Dave is a dear friend to all of us and remains a vital member of the band. He's been behind the scenes for a while but you may soon see him on the stage with us once again, in a different capacity of course. You'll have to come to see the shows to see what he'll be doing. And, no, he won't be stripping, as much as you might want him to. He's just too shy. Also, you can now follow us on Facebook. Our good friend Angel is helping us out with that, so go ahead and check it out. That's it for now.
