July 31, 2006Too long, too long, God almighty, it's been too long... Here's what's shakin'. There have obviously been some major changes at the 'ole Half Star camp. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Mr. Larry Marini to the line-up. His tasty six string sonic enhancment is something we're all excited by. I'm sure for those of you that have seen him with us live over the years, you may feel the same. Welcome aboard brother. Some upcoming shows include a benefit in Lincoln, RI on August, 5. As I will be on my annual canoe trip floating down the 'Greasy Grass River' in Maine, our good friend Pete Abdou will be filling in for me. Man, I wish I was there for that! And of course we'll be back at our favorite Irish Pub in Cranston, RI on August, 26. We know we're slow on recording some of those originals we've been working on, but let's just say... 'We're enjoying ourselves'. They're in the works brothers and sisters. Stay tuned, and we'll see you soon. Peace, May 21, 2006Hello everyone, No, we haven't shut the doors down. Some doors have been shut on us recently, but that's another story. We've had a recent move among other changes, but we're still going strong. May 20, we participated with a number of other great local musicians to say farewell to Johnny Mac's who will sadly be closing their doors at the end of the month.
